Right now we have plenty of problems that have surfaced, so it's time to get to work and make some progress in the right direction. As for the extra taxes, with the deficit where it is now there's pretty much no avoiding everyone paying a lot more taxes. Hopefully, the next president will reverse some of Bush's business taxing decisions and get the tax revenue back to where it used to be. You can only improve when you know what the problems are. This is the only way we can have our country saved from human idiocy. (Some of us are not too technically talented; I accidentally posted this comment on the site for "The Truth Is Painful" comments. Maybe it will be useful there as well.)
