@asbestos survey: Thank u for the comments. I like the Prius, but a little small for me but I don't like the sticking gas pedals. Hmmm, seems the gas pedal deal kind of went away.

I actually really like the Toyota prius, I think it looks very sleek. I would like to see more eco-friendly cars on the road but hopefully more manufacturers will start getting involved with creating these cars.

@Phillip:Thanks for your comments. Howlong will it take to recoup your money for the higher price of the Prius? You are getting great mileage, but you paid a premium to get the Pruis.

Most estimates I have seen says 6-7 years. The GM hybrids are not selling and would you buy a GM hybrid considering their economic condition. I have purchase GM vehicles since the 1970's, but no more. Prius sales have been down in the U.S. and Chevrolet had the top selling U.S. car last year. Enjoy your Prius.

I would've bought a hybrid from GM but I couldn't wait. I'm happy with the Prius.

@Global Changes: Thanks for your comments. CG agrees, the VW Sportswagon looks and really is awesome. Looking forward to driving one.

But hybrids are not selling and seem to be tanking. What is going on with this? Check this out: http://tinyurl.com/d5rcop

@Global Patriot: Thanks for your comments. I would like to see the American Auto industry have a few cars listed with 4 green leafs.

Unless the auto industry management gets their act together and really clean up their mess, then its going to take a while before they can achieve the 4 green leaf label.
Unfortunately, the auto group has decided to give up the battle and let the federal government lead them into total destruction.

Sad that the American manufacturers didn't make the cut this time around, but this type of industry recognition will hopefully get them to join the competition for producing greener autos in the future.
