Is that a kidney stone? _confused 5th grader
@Angela: Thanks for your comment. Yes these are pictures of kidney stones taken by doctors after the stones were removed from the patient. Now, you can see why these stones are so painful. What do you think kidneys stones look like?
My father had a kidney stone when I was a teenager and he suffered excruciating pain and even pain killers could not stop the pain. Dad was fortunate because he passed the stone and did not require surgery.
